About Us…
We grew up in small towns to families where money was tight. To combat the boredom, we had to be creative. We never stopped.
What small towns lack in entertainment, they make up for in community. We learned to value relationships, rather than things. People...and their stories are what matter.
Though Nashville is bigger, we’re still driven first and foremost, to tell stories that matter. Behind your music, nonprofit, business...is a story. We’d love to help you tell it.
Between us, we have more than 30 years of experience in production. We’ve been featured in publications as big as Rolling Stone, and worked on projects as small as weekly announcement videos for local churches. Our modest upbringing taught us how to do a lot with a little.

About that name…
In a trailer park in 2007, Jamie Jean discovered that one of his 4 roommates, Elliott Davis, had trouble pronouncing the word “backflip.” Between the two of them, they’d just finished a case of energy drinks, finals, and thus...another year at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide). The following year, they’d both graduate, marry, & move out of state. Elliott still can’t say it. We just went with “BlackFip” to keep him from being embarrassed.
